Maybe you have already seen theese my pictures of Romanian "Elba" lanterns in http://www.miestai.net/forumas/showthre ... post390536, or http://www.lighting-gallery.net/gallery ... ?cat=10598, but I want to show yuo again theese interesting and nice shaped romanian lanters from early 70's. There was quite many Elbas in Vilnius in 70's, but now only near one closed factory yuo can see it, some of them are still working


The design of theese Elba lanterns is simply cool

I think, it's made of duraliumin (alloy of aliuminium), because its walls thick.

So it can last for decades, I suppose. If only other parts are built for that durability.
