Może i masz trochę racji,Francuzi to brudasy i pełno arabów na ulicach,szczególnie w okolicach Paryża,ale południe Francji jest piekne.

Trudno mi to ocenić, ale chyba prędzej tam można znaleźć przedwojenne latarnie odrestaurowane i obsadzone świetlówkami kompaktowymi lub (niestety) sodą, niż oprawy sprzed kilkunastu lat. Przynajmniej takie mam wrażenie po wyglądzie. Widziałem jedynie kilka francuskich miast, mogę się mylić.

Świetne zdjęcia. We Francji dużo jest stylizowanych latarni,. Znajomy wiele razy był w Paryżu i twierdzi że te miasto tonie w sodzie, soda jest w parkach.

Like in Poland (and main european countries), old lanterns are becoming very rares nowadays.
Most of our old fixtures came from PHILIPS ECLAIRAGE FRANCE (who made a lot of lanterns who exists in France or African french speaking countries only), MAZDA ECLAIRAGE (who become PHILIPS), SA HOLOPHANE (who become EUROPHANE around 1978 and THORN EUROPHANE in 1989) and ECLATEC.

The first lantern which France and Poland had in common was PHILIPS HGS 201 (or SGS 201). I know that there are still some of them in Poznan.
We now use to install some fixtures which are well known there, like PHILIPS Marbella (that is the name used in France when we talk abour new SGS 201 - SGS 203 - SGS 204), PHILIPS Traffic Vision (called "Massilia" in France), PHILIPS Iridium, PHILIPS Malaga, some SCHREDER lanterns like Z, Saphir, Onyx, Furyo, Thylia, and THORN lanterns like Pilote (who was a French lantern made by EUROPHANE in 1985), Triumph, Civic, Riviera, Decostreet, etc...

SOX lanterns are very rare in France (we have some PHILIPS SRS 201 but they are rare), lanterns with fluorescent tubes become very rare too

I'm French and I live near Paris, but I have lived in several regions in France.
I'm 28 and like most of you, I have always been interested about streetlights, new streetlights and old streetlights.

French streetlights to begin, west-european streetlights to continue, and streetlights all over the world to finish !
I now have a little knowleges about streetlights in most of countries of the world, about Poland I particulary like your MESKO lanterns (particulary OURW 2250 that I have seen for the first time some weeks ago in ex-east part of Germany).



Unfortunalety I don't know any word of Polish language , but google translator could have help me to read your conversations !
I have discovered your forum some month ago, when I was looking for a lantern from eastern europe (I don't remember which one) in the google image websearch.

I use to add photos in the lighting gallery as "Hyperlynx", we also have a "french" forum in which Pawel posted a lot of photos from Poland.
